Calligraphy and Lettering Arts Society: The largest national society, which represents and supports all areas of calligraphic endeavour in the UK and abroad.
John Neal Books (USA) supply calligraphic books, tools and materials by mail order. They also handle subscriptions to the journals Letter Arts Review and Bound and Lettered.
PaperInc (Tina Scott): Tina has a good selection of quality papers for calligraphers. Contact her for information about stock items, or if you would like to book her paper 'stall' to visit your calligraphy workshop.
Words for peace: This is an on-going, collaborative calligraphy project and exhibition, started by Thomas Ingmire in 2003. The website has some wonderful slideshows of recent exhibitions of the material at different locations in the USA.
Thomas Ingmire: The Society of Scribes and Illuminators' first American Fellow, has been instrumental in the change of direction in my work since 2002.
The Saint John's Bible, a project begun by Donald Jackson in 1998, has involved calligraphers and artists from both sides of the Atlantic.
The Arkwright Society website has more information about the Mill and Gothic Warehouse in Cromford, Derbyshire and the activities that take place there.
